A four-player co-op game called GTFO was announced at The Game Awards. After the trailer reveal, GTFO developer Ulf Andersson said the first-person shooter has an emphasis on teamwork and puzzle solving. Players are tasked with scavenging for artifacts in an underground complex that’s filled with monsters. GTFO is coming to PC in 2018. PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds will come out of Early Access and launch 1.0 on December 20. Also announced at The Game Awards, the new desert map is available now on test servers for PUBG, with it heading to Xbox One early next year. New cosmetics will be available in PUBG after its official launch. PUBG Corp. recently clarified these future loot boxes won’t have any items that affect gameplay. Owlchemy Labs has unveiled Vacation Simulator, a VR game that sees you picking up crabs and eating hot dogs on an island. Announced at The Game Awards, Vacation Simulator is set on Vacation Island. Owlchemy Labs, which previously made Job Simulator as well as Rick and Morty: Vitual Rick-ality, says the game is about recreation, relaxation and sunburn. Preseason matches for the first Overwatch League are now underway, and there are a few different ways to tune in. As previously reported, all League matches will be streamed via the homepage of the Overwatch League website. Outlast 3 has been confirmed, and the Outlast franchise is coming to the Nintendo Switch early next year. Developer Red Barrels confirmed on Facebook it will make Outlast 3 at some point, and the first quarter of 2018 will see the franchise debut on Switch. A standalone, Battle Royale-inspired Dying Light expansion will be released in 2018, Techland announced today. Called Dying Light: Bad Blood, the multiplayer expansion features “PvP and PvE styles of gameplay, while retaining the core of Dying Light’s unique experience,” according to Techland.
