Shawn Layden, the president and CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment America, hinted that players could be able to change their PSN name by the next PlayStation Experience. “Let me put it this way: I hope we’ll see events occur so that you don’t have to ask me that question next PSX,” Layden said to Kinda Funny’s Greg Miller when Miller asked when players could change their PSN names during the PSX opening celebration. MediEvil is getting remastered for the PlayStation 4, Sony announced at the 2017 PlayStation Experience. Aside from being remastered in 4K, no other details were given on the MediEvil remaster in the announcement trailer. MediEvil first launched on the PlayStation in 1998. Capcom’s own Mega Man will make a cameo in Monster Hunter World in the form of 8-bit gear for Palicoes, the Felyne hunting companions. Monster Hunter World will also feature classic tunes from Mega Man tied to certain weapons, including Dr. Wily’s Stage and Fire Man, in celebration of Mega Man’s 30th anniversary. Sony shared additional details on God of War at the PSX 2017 opening ceremony, including its development progress and length. A virtual reality experience set in the world of The Last Guardian is coming to PlayStation VR. Sony shared the news tonight during its PSX 2017 opening celebration. Players will be able interact with Trico in a standalone experience that lasts for about 15-20 minutes. It will be available for free on the PlayStation Store on December 12.
