Following fan outcry, Bungie has announced that it will change certain decisions that lock Destiny 2 players out of certain content if they don’t own the new Curse of Osiris expansion. In a blog post, Bungie admits that it’s “clear that we’ve made some mistakes” with its handling of content access, and promises that these issues will be fixed in a patch scheduled to go live today, December 12. The Curse of Osiris expansion raised the power levels required for Prestige activities from 300 to 330, locking out players who haven’t bought the cap-raising expansion pack. Bungie’s reasoning is that it wanted…

We’ve already played the First Act and spent a good five hours mucking about in flying cars, obliterating each other with orbital lasers and zipping around the city in jetpacks mounted with miniguns. It’s eccentric and ridiculous, as you desperately try to avert a potential apocalypse from engulfing the city of Los Santos. Since it’s out today, there’s not much point going through specifics of what you actually do, but instead here’s a detailed overview of how it works and some of the coolest stuff it adds to GTA Online. Unlike previous heists, which were discrete missions, The Doomsday Heist…

When I was a kid, I had a pair of creepy, reclusive neighbors who lived next door and greeted everyone with a sneer. My imagination spent a lot of time constructing what kind of weird stuff might actually be going on in their shuttered, suburban home – so the premise of Hello Neighbor was enticing because it was practically out of my autobiography. As the plucky, unnamed child protagonist, you hear and see some disturbing things through your strange middle-aged neighbor’s window and take it upon yourself to investigate. Unfortunately, the most disturbing thing you find within ends up being…

Doki Doki Literature Club has surpassed 1 million downloads. Dan Salvato, the founder of Doki Doki Literature Club (DDLC) developer Team Salvato, made the announcement, thanking the many media outlets and content creators who made the success possible. “It’s only just now I’ve realized that nothing I’ve ever done in my life has had greater reach and popularity than a romance game with cute anime girls.” he said. “It’s not often that visual novels and/or romance games are given the treatment that you gave it,” Salvato added, acknowledging the genre’s traditionally niche appeal. In light of the success of DDLC, Salvato said…

“I’m trying to make something different. How to show that, how to have people see that, that’s something I’m trying to figure out.” As usual, Hideo Kojima was calm and collected as I spoke to him just hours after the newest look at Death Stranding at the 2017 Game Awards. I’ve spoken with him several times throughout the past few years, from the forging of his partnership with Sony and his decision to use the Decima Engine, to the opening of his new studio deep in the heart of Shinagawa. But this time, something different happened. This time, I walked…
