Destiny 2 servers are going offline tomorrow to undergo maintenance. The maintenance is scheduled to last from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm Pacific time, after which Destiny 2 Hotfix 1.1.1.3 will become available. Details are available on Bungie.net. Once maintenance begins, players will not be able to log into the game, and players already logged in will be returned to the title screen at 9:00 am Pacific. Netflix is still “exploring the opportunity” to bring its streaming app to Nintendo Switch. The news comes by way of Polygon, who was told by a Netflix representative, “We are still exploring the opportunity with Nintendo, but don’t have definitive plans to share at this time” Over the weekend, customer service account @Netflixhelps told a customer “there are currently no plans for Netflix on Nintendo Switch,” but the tweet has since been deleted. Nintendo has reconfirmed there are currently no plans for the company to explore virtual reality or 4K support, citing the relatively small market for those technologies as a main reason behind its reluctance to invest. The open beta for Bandai Namco’s latest brawler, Dragon Ball FighterZ launched on Saturday and is scheduled to run until Tuesday, January 16 – but with many players unable to log in and Bandai Namco’s admission that there are “network issues” currently affecting gameplay, there’s a possibility that the beta period may be extended. This year marks the silver anniversary of 1993’s seminal NBA Jam and it appears Tim Kitzrow – the much-loved voice behind the series – is working with Microsoft on reviving the series to mark the occasion. Gravity Rush 2’s online functionality will remain active for several more months. Sony announced last September it would shut down the game’s online servers on January 18, only a year after Gravity Rush 2’s release.
