Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has become the best pre-selling Super Smash Bros. and Nintendo Switch title ahead of its release next month. Announced by Nintendo Versus, a short gameplay trailer breaks the news that Super Smash Bros. Shenmue 3 has ended its crowdfunding campaign by raising a grand total of $7,179,510 USD through the help of 81,087 backers. Announced in an update on Kickstarter, this amount was achieved above and beyond its original Kickstarter campaign, which raised $6,333,295 after setting a goal of just $2 million. Wreck-It Ralph has popped up unexpectedly in Fortnite, and no one can quite work out what’s making him appear. The character appears on the drive-in movie screen at Risky Reels, and gives a brief wave before running offscreen. Seemingly first publicly spotted by Twitch streamer Mozzzyy, we’ve since captured footage of Ralph’s brief appearance ourselves – check it out below: It’s not totally clear what’s causing the event to trigger, or if this is a precursor to another big Disney-Fortnite crossover like the short-lived mode that turned players into Thanos. Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Let’s Go, Eevee! have sold three million copies in just one week and have become the fastest selling Nintendo Switch titles since the system’s launch in March of 2017. After more than 50 hours plundering the irradiated wasteland of Fallout 76, the greatest mystery still lingering is who this mutated take on Fallout is intended for. Like many of Vault-Tec’s underground bunkers, Bethesda’s multiplayer riff on its post-nuclear RPG series is an experiment gone awry. There are bright spots entangled in this mass of frustratingly buggy and sometimes conflicting systems, but what fun I was able to salvage from the expansive but underpopulated West Virginia map was consistently overshadowed by the monotony of its gathering and crafting treadmill.
