With a beautiful art style and dynamic twin-stick combat, Nine Parchments is a dungeon crawler that shines best in a co-op group of up to four players. The image of Link riding the Master Cycle Zero in the release trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild’s second DLC expansion pack may have been surprising, but Nintendo teased a bike-riding Link for the newest entry in the franchise earlier this year. During the Breath of the Wild GDC 2017 panel in March, members of the Zelda development team showed off a host of concept art for potential Link’s they dreamed up ahead of BotW’s development. Update: The Switch version of Bayonetta 2 will reportedly include a few new features, including local co-op and amiibo support. As reported by Polygon, a post on PlatinumGames’ website, which has since been pulled, reveals the following features will be included in the Switch version of Bayonetta 2: Local wireless cooperative play – The previously online-only coop Tag Climax is going local! A PlayStation Vita version of Stardew Valley will be released sometime in 2018. The popular farming simulator/RPG will come to Vita with cross-buy support, meaning those who already own the PlayStation 4 version will be able to download the Vita version at no cost. However, as noted in a post on the Stardew Valley website, the Vita version won’t feature the upcoming multiplayer update. Bayonetta 1 and 2 are getting special editions for Europe and Japan when they launch early next year. Nintendo of Europe announced when the games come to Switch in February, players in Europe will be able to purchase the Bayonetta Special Edition, which includes a game card with Bayonetta 2, a download code for Bayonetta 1, a SteelBook, Verse cards, and stickers. Update: Bandai Namco has revealed a few details about the setting of Soulcalibur VI. The fighting game will take place during the 16th century and revisit the events of the original game to “uncover hidden truths,” according to the publisher. Additionally, Bandai Namco confirmed the game will feature a “diverse lineup of new and returning characters with their unique fighting styles including series mainstays; Mitsurugi and Sophitia.” Original story follows: Bandai Namco has announced Soulcalibur VI, showcasing a brief teaser of the game this evening during The Game Awards.
