Shawn Layden, the president and CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment America, hinted that players could be able to change their PSN name by the next PlayStation Experience.
“Let me put it this way: I hope we’ll see events occur so that you don’t have to ask me that question next PSX,” Layden said to Kinda Funny’s Greg Miller when Miller asked when players could change their PSN names during the PSX opening celebration.
Sony told IGN about some of the challenges the company faces in allowing players to change their PSN name back in 2014.
Layden also discussed whether E3’s public access was a success at this year’s show, and God of War’s game length was revealed earlier in the PSX opening celebration.
