Sony shared additional details on God of War at the PSX 2017 opening ceremony, including its development progress and length.
Santa Moncia Studios’ creative director Cory Barlog revealed God of War is in its final phases, and they’re currently play testing.
“I’m feeling very good about things,” Barlog said. “I would love to be able to tell people when we’re going to release it, but my dog ate the release date, so I don’t have that right now.”
God of War is still expected to be released in 2018. Originally, Barlog expected God of War to last about 15 hours, but after finishing play tests conducted over the past few weeks, God of War’s total gameplay time was found to be between 25 and 35 hours.
