Total War: Three Kingdoms has been delayed to Spring 2019, according to information provided at the end of their latest trailer for the game.
Previously scheduled for a Fall 2018 launch, it appears that developer Creative Assembly needs a little more time to finish their latest Total War title. When the Total War team initially announced Three Kingdoms on Twitter, they revealed that the game would be the first in the series to explore ancient China.
The Cao Cao In-Engine Trailer dives into Three Kingdoms’ plot, where a child-emperor is being manipulated by the tyrant Dong Zhuo, and other warlords and generals must work together to end his oppression. The trailer focuses on one leader, Cao Cao, a major figure of the Three Kingdoms time period which took place during the 2nd and 3rd centuries. His cunning strategy was integral in uniting China to unseat Dong Zhuo, after which Cao Cao took his place as Grand Chancellor of China.
