As revealed by The NPD Group’s Mat Piscatella, The Last of Us Part 2’s first month sales have surpassed other games as Final Fantasy VII Remake, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and Doom Eternal to claim the top spot.
The Last of Us Part 2, which also became the fastest-selling PS4 exclusive with over 4 million copies sold in its first three days, only trails Marvel’s Spider-Man for the biggest launch month for a Sony published game.
