Though the biggest change Undead Labs is bringing to State of Decay 2 is the addition of up to four-player cooperative play, there’s an undeniable allure to striking out alone in the zombie apocalypse. Everyone that jumped into the original State of Decay had this experience, and it stands to reason that many would-be survivors (myself included) are going to plant those “Keep Out” signs in their shelters and go it alone… at least at first.
In fact, when we released our first chunk of State of Decay 2 gameplay – 25 Minutes of 4-Player Co-op Multiplayer – a lot of you were curious if co-op play was required, if the game would be different for solo players, and if the difficulty would be prohibitive without three others helping you out. With that in mind, today we’re please to reveal a 22-minute gameplay clip of single-player from somewhere around mid-game. In it you’ll see a few side quests, some basic survivor information, and the dangerous, often fatal, consequences of getting cocky.
